Allotments

Thaxted Parish Council have one area dedicated to the provision of 'Allotments' and currently manages 34 plots.

Demand for allotments is high with waiting lists in place. Allotments will be offered on a "first come - first served" basis using a waiting list managed by the Clerk/Assistant Clerk. Priority of allocation will always be given to those residing in The Parish of Thaxted. The Parish Council is in the process of adopting a Policy & Guidance document which has been formulated to ensure that all relevant policies and procedures relating to Parish Council Allotments are clearly set out within a single document. a DRAFT version of this can be seen in the link below.
