Update: 26/3/24, Mature Trees will be replanted once the work has been completed, access by crane is needed meaning that three Trees had to be removed to facilitate this, the existing culvert trash screen is being reprofiled with a concrete infill to ensure future maintenance work can be safely carried out. To confirm enabling works to facilitate the main construction phase for the Trash Screen scheme will commence on the 18^th March. The planned works being undertaken will be vegetation clearance only. The planned works are detailed as follows: On Copthall Lane crown trees to 5m up to wooden gate entrance – approx. 30m length and also around entrance gate. Cut down all vegetation on bank areas within works area -approx.150m2.
